This database allows you to search data collection instruments and instrument development resources that you can use or adapt.
While all items have been reviewed for quality by TCEC, most have not been tested or validated by us.
The database includes:
Data collection instruments created and/or used by other tobacco control projects or research organizations
Instrument ESSENTIALS – a new set of resources which identify common evaluation uses and measures for each topic category
Question Banks – Compilations of questions of a particular type or topic, e.g., interview questions about policy adoption and implementation processes
Resources – In-depth coverage of a method or a topic, such as TECC’s Consumer Testing Guide
If you need additional advice as you develop or adapt an instrument, please contact us at 530-752-9951, or tcecta@phmail.ucdavis.edu.

To search for instruments on a particular topic, click on the + next to the category name and all of the subtopics in that cluster become visible (and clickable).
Then choose the subtopics you want to search for.
If you do use or adapt an instrument or resource, please be sure to cite the original author, if known.
